Demonic Presence + Savage Rebound

Deals 15% current damage each second inside half range; a stun is immediately cleansed and triggers a 125% follow-up attack that applies Dismembered.

Decision lens: Combines inner-range pressure with anti-stun utility. The displayed stat values are examples from the source table, not confirmed roll ranges.

Evidence boundary: A second equipment guide matches the shown rolls, inner-range damage, stun cleanse, follow-up damage and Dismembered effect. The roll range is still unknown.

Radial Flames

When Burn stops ticking in range, converts one Burn application into Austere Flames at 85% current damage; that instance does not stack.

Decision lens: A synergy piece. Its passive needs a dependable Burn source, so evaluate it with Flame Emperor or another currently verified Burn applicator.

Evidence boundary: A second equipment guide matches the stat ranges and Radial Flames conversion behavior. Drop chance and pity remain single-source claims.

At 20 Bleed stacks in range, summons a Bat Spirit (capacity 3). Each Bat attacks three times at 25% of the unit's current damage.

Decision lens: A direct kit unlock for an evolved Cursed Student. It rewards teams that can keep adding Bleed stacks inside the same lane section.

Evidence boundary: A second publisher's equipment guide matches the stat ranges, Spirit Bats trigger, capacity and damage behavior. Drop chance and pity still rely on the Beebom table.

Crumble Away

Adds upgrade-based Slow values: 20% on Explode, 35% on Blast Away, 50% on Twist and 65% on Crush.

Decision lens: Best understood as a control upgrade, not a raw-DPS recommendation. More range and lower SPA help the Slow affect more enemies more often.

Evidence boundary: A second equipment guide matches both stat ranges and all four attack-based Slow values. Drop chance and pity remain single-source claims.

Stone Wall

Summons a wall every 12 seconds (capacity 2), with listed health equal to 75% current damage in base form or 50% in Giant form.

Decision lens: Adds lane blocking rather than a simple damage multiplier. The value rises when another attack cycle is worth more than a small stat gain.

Evidence boundary: A second equipment guide matches the stat ranges, Stone Wall name and 12-second trigger, but leaves capacity and health scaling pending.

Puppet Creation

When an enemy carrying this unit's Puppet Mark dies, summons one Doll with listed health equal to 200% of current damage.

Decision lens: Extends Puppet's marked-target utility with one blocker. Range supports mark coverage; the summon should not be treated as a second carry.

Evidence boundary: A second equipment guide matches the stat ranges and Puppet Creation name, but leaves the Doll trigger, capacity and health scaling pending.

Arcane Spells

Treats charge spells as follow-up attacks: 3 charges uses 100% line AoE, 5 uses 125% circle AoE with Mana Burn, and 7 uses 150% full AoE.

Decision lens: A sustained-AoE upgrade. Lower SPA helps reach charge thresholds, so it is more meaningful in fights long enough to complete repeated cycles.

Evidence boundary: A second guide matches the stats and most charge thresholds, but reports Slow at five charges where Beebom reports Mana Burn and omits the seven-charge effect. Verify this passive in game.

Winged Spirit

At upgrade 3, summons a spirit circling at half range that deals 75% current damage every five seconds at its location and applies Stun.

Decision lens: Adds recurring AoE control to an already utility-heavy unit. Treat the craft requirement as live-menu dependent.

Evidence boundary: A separate release report corroborates the item name only. Stats, passive details and crafting route still rely on the Beebom table.

Cocoon of Carnage

Every five regular attacks cocoons enemies for 10 hits or five seconds. Breaking it in 10 hits deals 125% current damage; otherwise it despawns.

Decision lens: The passive wants attack volume. Lower SPA helps trigger cocoons, while a fast team is still needed to break them before the timer expires.

Evidence boundary: A second equipment guide matches the stat ranges, passive name and five-attack trigger, but leaves the cocoon timing and damage details pending.

Resource order

What should you farm first?

01 · Prove the unit

Do not farm gear for a bench unit

Use the team builder first. An exclusive passive is valuable only when the unit already fills a real damage, control or support gap.

02 · Use a standard bridge

Match the current bottleneck

Kunai and Warrior's Axe point toward faster attacks; Magic Orb adds range; Katana and Magic Book specialize by damage type. Compare the roll you actually own.

03 · Farm the exclusive

Prefer a kit-changing passive

The listed Mastery pieces have a 5% chance and 20 pity in the source table. Confirm the live panel, then compare your real clear rate in the farming calculator.

04 · Reroll late

Do not chase max rolls too early

Current guides report equipment rerolls from Challenges and the Gold Shop for 2,500 Gold, with locks for preserving one stat. Verify the live price, then use the resource decision record to check the spend and hold boundary.

Build interactions

Three decisions stats alone cannot answer

Burn engine: Emperor's Attire + Hell's Flower

Wildfire spreads Burn from Flame Emperor; Radial Flames converts a finished Burn inside Hollow's range. That makes placement and reliable application part of the build—not just the equipment roll.

Attack volume: Webbed Fruit

String Demon triggers a cocoon after five regular attacks, but the team must land ten hits before five seconds expire to get the listed damage. Lower SPA helps both halves of that loop.

Control value: Technique Amplifier and Boulder

Slow and walls buy attack cycles. Their value depends on lane length, placement and the damage already covering that lane, so they should not be ranked by raw damage alone.

Evidence ledger

Sources, confidence and known limits

5 details cross-checked

A second guide matches both stats and the material passive behavior.

6 partial cross-checks

Only the name, stats or part of the passive is supported by a second publisher.

6 single-source records

The detailed values remain dependent on one dated guide table.

The names, unit matches, stats, passives, locations, 5% chance and 20-pity claims originate in Ishan Adhikary's Beebom guide, All Anime Expeditions Equipment and What They Do, updated July 17. It is an independent guide, not an official database.

Larc's GAMES.GG equipment guide matches the full visible details for Promise Ring, Technique Amplifier, Hell's Flower, Spirit of the Moonblade and Hair Bells, and partially supports five more records. Its Elven Battle Staff text conflicts with Beebom at five charges—Slow versus Mana Burn—so this page exposes that disagreement instead of choosing a winner. A separate GAMES.GG release report corroborates Hexed Blade's name. Nikola Savic's Pro Game Guides unit ability reference supports surrounding kit context.

Matching publication text is corroboration, not proof that the publishers verified it independently. No second accessible table confirms the 5% drop chance or 20 pity. Spirit of the Moonblade and Hair Bells show example percentages rather than published roll ranges, and Shinigami Sword's map remains TBA. Each finder card now states its exact evidence boundary.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best equipment in Anime Expeditions?+

There is no defensible universal best item. Unit-specific gear can unlock a powerful passive, while a strong standard roll may better solve damage, SPA or range until the exclusive is available. Match the item to the unit and mode.

How do you get unit-specific equipment?+

The July 17 guide table lists most exclusive pieces in a matching Mastery stage at a 5% chance with 20 pity, plus Armory Forge crafting. Hexed Blade is listed through crafting rather than a Mastery drop. Confirm the live reward panel and recipe.

Can every unit use standard equipment?+

The current guide says yes. Standard equipment is the flexible category, while named exclusive pieces require their matching unit and usually its evolved form.

Should I evolve or farm equipment first?+

First confirm the target unit belongs in your team. Most exclusive pieces are reported to require the evolved form, so evolution normally comes before a dedicated exclusive-equipment grind.

Are the equipment stats guaranteed?+

No. Most published values are ranges and the game offers rerolls. Two source-table records show only one example roll, which this page labels explicitly rather than pretending it is a guaranteed value.
